Universal Pre-K & Kindergarten 2024 - 2025 Registration

A child must be at least 4 years old by December 1, 2024 to enter Universal Pre-Kindergarten in the 2024-2025 school year.

The Universal Pre-K Program is a FREE 5 hour, 5 days a week, program for 4 year old children.  In order to qualify for this state funded program your children must be age 4 on or before December 1st and live within the Nanuet School District boundaries. 

STEP ONE:

Complete the Universal Prekindergarten application and return to the district no later than 3/22/2024.  You can access the application by clicking on the following link:

STEP TWO:

Once you have received the pre-registration packet in the mail, click the following link for the 2024 - 2025 school year:

UPK Online Registration Portal 

You must have a registation packet before you start the online registration form.

Please use the Kindergarten Online Registration Portal for registration for the 2024 - 2025 school. 

Before starting registration via the portal, request a registration packet by emailing the registrar, amoynihan@nanuetsd.net.  Please include the child's name, date of birth, parent or guardian name, address, phone number and your email address in your email. 

A child must be at least 5 years old by December 1, 2024 to enter Kindergarten in the 2024-2025 school year.

Starting in February, the Nanuet School District will begin to register incoming kindergarten students for the fall.  Any child who will be 5 years of age on or before December 1, 2024, and who also meets residency requirements, is eligible to begin kindergarten at the start of the 2024-2025 school year.
