UPK 2026-2027 Registration / Inscripción de UPK 2026–2027
A child must be at least 4 years old by December 1, 2026 to enter Universal Pre-Kindergarten for the 2026–2027 school year.
The Universal Pre-K Program is a NYS funded program for 4-year-old children that runs 5 hours per day, 5 days per week. To qualify for this state-funded program, your child must be 4 years old on or before December 1, 2026 and must live within the Nanuet School District boundaries.
STEP ONE:
Complete the Universal Prekindergarten application and return it to the district no later than 3/1/2026. You can access the application by clicking the link below:

STEP TWO:
Once you receive the pre-registration packet in the mail, click the link below to register for the 2026–2027 school year:

You must have a registration packet before you begin the online registration form.
Un niño/a debe tener al menos 4 años para el 1 de diciembre de 2026 para ingresar al Programa de Pre-K Universal (UPK) durante el año escolar 2026–2027.
El Programa Universal de Pre-K es un programa GRATUITO para niños/as de 4 años que se ofrece 5 horas al día, 5 días a la semana. Para calificar para este programa financiado por el estado, su hijo/a debe tener 4 años cumplidos el 1 de diciembre de 2026 o antes y vivir dentro de los límites del Distrito Escolar de Nanuet.
PASO UNO:

Kindergarten 2026-2027 Registration / Inscripción Para Kindergarten 2026-2027
Please use the Kindergarten Online Registration Portal for registration for the 2026 - 2027 school.
Before starting registration via the portal, request a registration packet by emailing the registrar, amoynihan@nanuetsd.net. Please include the child's name, date of birth, parent or guardian name, address, phone number and your email address in your email.
A child must be at least 5 years old by December 1, 2026 to enter Kindergarten in the 2026 - 2027 school year.
Starting in February, the Nanuet School District will begin to register incoming kindergarten students for the fall. Any child who will be 5 years of age on or before December 1, 2026, and who also meets residency requirements, is eligible to begin kindergarten at the start of the 2026 - 2027 school year.

Antes de comenzar la inscripción a través del portal, solicite un paquete de registro enviando un correo electrónico a la registradora, amoynihan@nanuetsd.net. Incluya el nombre del niño/a, la fecha de nacimiento, el nombre del padre o tutor, la dirección, el número de teléfono y su dirección de correo electrónico en su correo.
Un niño/a debe tener al menos 5 años para el 1o de diciembre del 2026 para ingresar al jardín de infantes en el año escolar 2026 - 2027.
A partir de febrero, el Distrito Escolar de Nanuet comenzará a inscribir a los estudiantes que ingresan al jardín de infantes para el otoño. Cualquier niño que cumpla 5 años el 1 de diciembre de 2026 o antes y que también cumpla con los requisitos de domiciliares, es elegible para comenzar el jardín de infantes al comienzo del año escolar 2026 - 2027.
Algunos de los documentos necesarios para completar el registro incluyen un acta de nacimiento con un sello en relieve u otra documentación oficial que proporcione las fechas de nacimiento, un registro de vacunas, chequeo físico y dental y prueba de domicilio.
